Loved it and now my journey has officially begun.
Hello there! I’m a naturopathic doctor from the US and I’m interested in coming to study Rongoa with you. I have many years of herbal study behind me but am being called to start a new path of study in New Zealand. Any information you can provide would be very helpful. Thank you so much!
Thank you so much for contacting me. I thought I had already replied to you some time ago, but when I checked my sent emails, I couldn’t find my response…I sincerely apologise for this.
Your knowledge sounds extensive and impressive. It is interesting that you are drawn to study our native plants. They truly are amazing. I am presently offering a 1 day introductory course in Rongoa – this incorporated history, tikanga/protocol, plant identification and medicinal properties and basic medicine making. Later in the year I will be launching a 12 week program which starts with a 2 day noho (live in) workshop and then weekly webinars- learning 3 new rongoa plants each week with their healing properties, spiritual properties, chemical properties etc. Lastly finishing with another 2 day noho (live in) workshop. This is a course that you will to be in NZ to attend as there is a large component to it where you will be asked to go out and tune into the plant through its energetic field and receive messages.
Thanks again for your interest. I hope to hear from you again in the near future. It is best to contact me directly on firstname.lastname@example.org. Nga mihi mahana x
Tena koe Raukura!
Just wondering if you did a Rongoa wananga at all, if you were planning one this year or next?
Nga mihi whaea!
